Course Objectives:

The course intends to equip the learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to diagnose and debug PC hardware, install and maintain system software and hardware components. Additionally, the course also focuses on developing the personality and communication skills of the learners to help them become more effective professionals in the field of computer hardware.

Course Overview:

This three-month part-time course covers the following subjects:

  1. Electronic Components and PC Hardware: In this module, learners will get to know about the various electronic components that make up a PC, such as motherboard, CPU, RAM, hard disk, etc. They will learn how to identify, assemble, and disassemble these components.

  2. PC Architecture: This module will introduce learners to the basic architecture of a PC. They will learn about the different buses, ports, and slots, and their functions.

  3. Computer Peripherals and Networking: This module will cover the various peripherals that can be connected to a PC, such as printers, scanners, and webcams. Learners will also learn about the basics of networking and how to set up a simple LAN.

  4. System Software: In this module, learners will be introduced to the various types of system software, such as operating systems and device drivers. They will learn how to install and configure these software components.

  5. Personality Development and Communication Skills: This module will help learners develop their communication and interpersonal skills, including effective communication, public speaking, time management, and team building.

  6. PC Debugging: This module will cover the various diagnostic and debugging tools that can be used to identify and fix PC hardware and software issues. Learners will also learn about repair and maintenance of PCs.

  7. Software Installation & Maintenance: In this module, learners will learn how to install and maintain software on a PC, including applications and utilities.
