Course Objectives:

  • Rules for declension of articles in the dative.
  • Declension of definite articles in the dative case.
  • Sentence structure in the dative.
  • Verbs with dative and accusative objects.

Module 2: Pronouns and Demonstratives in Dative Case

  • Declension of indefinite articles in the dative case.
  • Personal pronouns in the dative.
  • Dative verbs and their usage.
  • Demonstrative pronouns in the dative case.
  • Declension of the demonstrative pronoun "dies."

Module 3: Reflexive Verbs and Dative Prepositions

  • Reflexive pronouns and verbs.
  • Introduction to German dative prepositions: ab, aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu.
  • Separable verbs in German and their usage.
  • Sentences with modal verbs and separable verbs.

Module 4: Two-Way Prepositions and Perfect Tense

  • Understanding two-way prepositions in German.
  • Reflexive verbs with accusative and dative.
  • Construction of perfect tense in German.
  • Conjugation of verbs "haben" and "sein" in perfect tense.
  • When to use "haben" and "sein" in the perfect tense.

Module 5: Perfect Tense and Question Formation

  • Perfect tense of German regular verbs with specific endings.
  • Perfect tense of regular separable verbs.
